Your not so humble blogger has been receiving e-mails of propaganda from the PLP. While this is acceptable in and of itself, one would think that a national political party, that hopes to regain the government would opt for a more professional approach to politics in the 21st century.
But I guess it would not be propaganda then would it?
What is even more distressing in a way is the tone of each e-mail. One can't help but read desperation into their message.
Why not offer suggestions as to how they would govern if given another opportunity to do so instead of giving the impression they are intent on creating mischief with the hope of destabilising the country.
It's a pity. The perception is Mr. Christie is a nice man, but if this is the case one would think he would publicly denounce this behaviour and encourage his party to regroup for the next election.
Maybe we are not as politically mature as we attempt to portray?
None of us like to lose, and it must be particularly difficult going from masters of all you survey to driving your self to and from work like the rest of us, but our country and her people deserve better.
I read somewhere recently words to the effect that with half truths, it's not so much that they are 50 percent true, it's the fact that they are so misleading. The PLP seem to be perfecting the skill, but as the old saying goes, maybe they should save their breath to cool their porridge, because we have a nation to build.
