During the past nine days six e-mails from Cuban Ambassador Felix Wilson have been blasted out on the following topics:
1. The last days of the patriarch - An article by Alexandre Trudeau (son of former Canadian prime minister Pierre Trudeau).
2. FOTOS ACTUALES DE FIDEL - Pictures confirming the master of the Cuban people is still alive.
3. Why They Hate Us - An article by Julia Sweig on why some people hate America.
4. Granma Interview with Raúl Castro (in English)
5. CUBAN DOCTOR IN INDONESIA, FROM BBC NEWS - An article about how much the Cuban doctor serving there is loved by the Indonesians, and
6. Anti-Castro Disclosures Could Help 'Cuban Five'
It is amazing how when things are really bad the Cuban propaganda machine gets rolling.
The other thing that strikes this blogger is the attitude that Cuban people are only remotely successful because of Castro. This is preposterous of course, but only serves to emphasize how the people reaping the benefits of Cuba, like Ambassador Wilson, will go to defend the dismal human rights and economic record of Castro.
Unfortunately they are not prepared to help the average citizen in Cuba know freedom because they believe they will lose their own.
It's all so pathetic.
